Mrs. Rodriguez was born in Santa Maria, California and has lived here her entire life. For more than four generations her family has been involved within some aspect of the community, and she can only hope to continue this valuable tradition. She is married to the most wonderful man, Eric, and together they have two amazing little boys, Connor and Brandon. They are what keeps her motivated. Mrs. Rodriguez has been a Santa Maria Saint since the year 2000, in which she was first enrolled as a student. It was here in the Agriculture Department where she really found a home; the sense of pride and community that both students and staff embody is the reason why she decided to return here as a teacher. After graduating from Santa Maria High School in 2004 she attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she majored and earned a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Horticulture Science. Although she had a genuine interest in the horticulture industry, her true passion was really working with young people, so she decided to pursue teaching in which she earned her Credential in 2010 and a Masters in Agriculture Education in 2016. She is extremely excited to be working with new and returning students each year.
